British producer/multi-instrumentalist Mr. Chop has been flying under our radar for a minute after we covered his Pete Rock homage project, For Pete’s Sake. While he did pop up with a slick remix in 2010, we’ve been itching for some new and original material. Thankfully that arrived this weekend by way of some literally bubbly visuals complement he and drummer Malcolm Catto’s new studio work. The name of the track isn’t listed, but we get the feeling it’d be something absurd given the snarling intensity displayed here. If Catto’s name looks familiar, you might know him as DJ Shadow’s longtime tour drummer.
