BBC Radio 1 comes through yet again, this time thanks to a stunning Flying Lotus bedtime mix on the Annie Mac show. Annie Mac has proven to us time and again how fantastic her taste of progressive tunes is, and this show is no exception. The first hour and 20 minutes is nothing to front on, but if you want to zoom up to Fly Lo’s set, hit the 1:20 mark. Steven Ellison kicks off the mix with some dreamy Björk, peppers things up with a bit of Miles Davis, and then closes out the show with Nathan Fake. It always baffles me how eclectic this Los Angeles producer’s taste is, and this mix finds a way to blow my mind yet again.
Listen to the mix at BBC Radio 1. Until The Quiet Comes is out now.
