Dela is pretty strategic when it comes to new musical releases, striking only when the time is right. While we haven’t been blessed with too many official tunes as of late, the French producer has taken to his Soundcloud page to liberate old material from back in 2007 and 2008. These four gems are part of the HeadlessHunters jazz sessions, featuring the young producer covering some classic jazz tracks. You will hear a bit of Bob James, Kool & The Gang, Jack McDuff and more. If you can recall, Jay Dee covered Blue Note Record’s “Oblighetto” years ago, making this compilation especially relatable for many of you hip-hop heads out there.
