Fresh off supporting Flosstradamus on a leg of their tour and a sweet Boiler Room set, Yung Tejas is gearing up for his biggest release yet, so it’s quite sensible that the first track to be released off his Talkin 2 U six-track EP is a smasher, correct? Austin, Texas native Sam Berry has really pulled out all the stops for this wild synth ride that is the eponymous lead track “Talkin 2 U”, and the rest of the EP is lining up to be just as great. “Talkin 2 U” sounds like the theme song to an ’80’s buddy sitcom, one that I would certainly tune into Wednesdays on CBS; it’s just so fun to listen to. This track seem to be scientifically engineered to have the utmost groove and rhythm.
