According to Lee Bannon, he shopped a beat (or a few, I’m assuming) to Flying Lotus for his upcoming project under his villainous rapper alias of Captain Murphy. And for whatever reason, the previously mysterious MC decided to pass on “InMySleep”. But as Bannon notes, we’re the winners in the end because we at least get to hear this pretty gnarly instrumental. It’s nothing like the jungle-indebted tracks he’s dropped recently, but more like a blunted monolith stomping through the woods.
