It has been quite miraculous watching Lee Bannon‘s quick rise to the top, and he continues to prove why he deserves all the success today with yet another splitting new track. “216” is indeed an instrumental track, but it goes above and beyond the template set by hip-hop producers before him. With countless twists, turns and transitions, it is an impressive take on everything from jungle to boom-bap. And he makes it work together seamlessly, as he paints a menacing picture with thudding bass and distant sirens.
