Kreayshawn Sold 3,900 Too Many ‘Somethin ‘Bout Kreay’ Copies

The numbers are in on more than just Cruel Summer today, as we also find out Kreayshawn sold a whopping 3,900 copies of her debut album, Somethin ‘Bout Kreay. One might ask, with a YouTube hit as big as “Gucci Gucci”, how could she only sell that many records? I think the bigger question is, who are those 3,900 people that spent actual money on this piece of garbage? Even in this dreaded music industry climate, that is an absolutely dismal figure. Hopefully she fades into obscurity soon, because I am not sure I can take much more of her contrived party tracks and irritating monotone raps. [via]
