King Krule’s “Octopus” has a somber, drunken vibe to it, with the young man also known as Archy Marshall stumbling through his own woozy, shuffling backdrop. As such, I’m beyond glad to see its newly released video carries the same tone. It stars Marshall, the track’s namesake, and a girl gripping her knees in a bathtub. If I was a betting man, he’s looking to convey the message within his lyrics, which, honestly, I’m having difficulty deciphering. Does that make this any less engaging? Of course not.
I’d never heard of this guy before but did not think he was white or looked like that. Good stuff though, guess thats why I follow this blog
