Keyboard Kid – Digital Blunts [Album Stream]

Keyboard Kid‘s newest project is called Digital Blunts; an idea we’ll likely see become a hot-button topic on a morning news show that stokes panic in about 15 years. There’s already technology that breathes a bit of life into George Clinton’s line on Outkast’s “Synthesizer” about creepy lapdances via laptops, but I digress. I’m here to tell you specific things about the album, like how it reminds me a bit of the music that made Araabmuzik a name that people actually checked for instead of an ‘is that really his name?’ name.

And songs like “T.A.S.H.A.” sound like what would’ve been made if the house that Wilt built turned away Daft Punk and commisioned the Seattle producer to make tunes that’d be paired with the face of Jeff Bridges in Tron. You can purchase a cassette copy through his Big Cartel page, be creepy and do that George Clinton stuff, or nothing at all. It’s your life.
