Kendrick Lamar – “Cartoon & Cereal”

While Kendrick Lamar‘s Section.80 landed at the number two spot on our top albums of 2011, it wasn’t actually a “proper” album. With that said, Kendrick plans on dropping that official debut full-length this year, and we speculate that “Cartoon & Cereal” has a strong chance of landing on that project. Backed by incredibly spacy production, Lamar sprays abstract, thought provoking lyrics with two other unidentified vocalists. The female almost sounds like Erykah Badu, actually. Section.80 was awesome, my favorite album of 2011, in fact. But this track right here is some next level business. Stay tuned as we approach the release of Good Kid in a Mad City.
