KechPhrase – The Kechstrumentals: Live From Nigeria, Tape 1 [Album Stream]

You might remember that we posted some new tunes from Chicago native kechPhrase two months back when he released “Writing on the Wall” and “Anything”, the latter of which features Big Baby Gandhi, BBU’s Epic, and Das Racist’s Kool A.D. Well, it turns out that the last of those three hip-hop acts actually runs his own imprint, Veehead, and signed kechPhrase recently.

We’re hearing the first result of the deal today in The Kechstrumentals: Live From Nigeria, Tape 1. It features 16 diverse, boom-bap-minded instrumentals from the burgeoning talent, who should only be making more noise in 2012. Stream the entire project below.
