Ever since the breakup of Das Racist, the Internet has seen a multitude of promotion and news relating what work the duo (and Dap) would be undertaking, and it seems as if Victor Vazquez has started his own label imprint called Veehead. The first artist that Vic brought on is UPenn senior track and field star, Ikechi Nnamani, aka kechPhrase, who released “Brobama” with the label bawse about a month ago.
But on “I’m On My Grind”, we get to experience kechPhrase as a solo artist, one who produces and raps with ease. This banging track was leaked through the Mishka Bloglin from kechPhrase’s LP “Green Card” which is set to release 19 March 2013. The album features guys like Big Baby Gandhi, Fat Tony, Chuuwee, Safe, and obviously Vicky Vaz.
