It looks like Kanye West and Bret Easton Ellis collaboration on the Yeezus trailer was all part of a trade. You see, the upcoming Ellis-directed film The Canyons needed a trailer, too. So, Kanye West got his DONDA team to re-edit the movie for the trailer. And Kanye also teamed up with Noah Goldstein to add some brand new music. Oh, and Lindsay Lohan is also starring in the film, which makes this whole project all the more ridiculous.
The rest of the film is actually going to be scored by Broken Social Scene’s Brendan Canning. The Canyons will be released Aug. 2.
