Look, I know that the word “rant” has been used a little too loosely in regards to Kanye West and his mid-show, Auto-Tune’d speeches over the years. But there’s no better way to describe what he did last night during Pusha T‘s My Name Is My Name listening party in New York City.
For a solid three minutes, the G.O.O.D. Music leader, who admits he’s indulged in some Grey Goose vodka, shouts his head off about corporations, culture vultures, and sell out while noting that Pusha was the originator of a lot of trends we’ve seen over the years. Sounds like someone’s been listening to “Mr. Me Too” recently.
