We’ve heard k-os on his rock tip before, but never as aggressively as “The Dog Is Mine”. Driven by the slick riffs of the electric guitar, k-os proves yet again how awesome he is at writing songs. And not just hip-hop tracks, but full-fledged pop music. Don’t get it misconstrued, though, this new song is by no means a departure from the underground scene. While I could definitely see this one getting some radio play, it has that raw grit we have always loved in the Canadian artist. “The Dog Is Mine” is set to land on k-os’ forthcoming project, Black On Blonde, which is already shaping up to be another fantastic chapter in this man’s career.
