Without question, one of my most anticipated releases of this or any year is k-os‘ Black On Blonde project. It’s not clear when it’s going to drop, but I’m already getting more excited about it after hearing the snippets he’s been posting to his YouTube account. That excitement only grew when I heard this audio clip of him speaking on Black On Blonde. In addition to talking about exactly what he’s going for on the release, he previews a dubby tune featuring some killer drums and a great sample of vocals from Metric’s Emily Haines. Listen below.
