Justin Timberlake’s ‘The 20/20 Experience’ Goes Platinum, Stays at No. 1

justin-timberlake-suitAfter nearly going platinum in its first week, Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience has officially hit the sales milestone. It pushed a total of 318,000 copies this past week, which kept it at the top of the charts for the second week in a row. That means it beat out Lil Wayne’s new album, I Am Not A Human Being II, which pushed 100,000 fewer units than JT’s record.

Clap for him. [via]

very true yet unfortunate statement. it’s a shame talent can’t be the only loudspeaker for success.

the album is good, but that isn’t why it’s shipping so many units. the hype machine is on this man’s side.

  3. It is just that good!
