Jon Hope – “Consequences” [Video]

After dropping the superb Words From A Fairview this past March, quick-witted MC Jon Hope returns with what just might be the first single (or at least a preview) off his aptly titled proper debut, A Work In Progress. Why is it aptly titled? Because it’s been in the works for as long as I can remember knowing about dude. And while he’s obviously kept us all satisfied with new (and free) material, there’s nothing like hearing a full-length debut, you know? Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that I can’t wait to hear A Work In Progress, especially after watching the visuals for “Consequences”. It features him spitting over Drake’s “Dreams Money Can Buy”, which serves as a great, moody backdrop for Hope’s vent session.
