Sometimes, brevity is an essential element of creation. There’s no need to force a longwinded speech when you can convey your message in a mere sentence. That’s how I feel about “iDo(nt)Care“, a killer single from Chicago rapper Joey Purp of the SaveMoney crew and producer Thelonious Martin. He only raps for about a minute’s time here, but anything longer would be unnecessary and perhaps even take away from his message. He doesn’t care that this track is less than 90 seconds long and neither should you. It’s still dope.
