Joell Ortiz – “Psycho” f. B.o.B. & Pharoahe Monch

A track with Joell Ortiz, Pharoahe Monch and Bobby Ray was not the most likely collaboration I expect to land on the internet today, but it certainly works. While Ortiz and Monch get passes in my mind when it comes to hip-hop credibility, Bob’s recent sway to the mainstream has me wishing for that old, hungry emcee back. Luckily for us “Psycho” brings the creativity and energy out of all three of these spitters, as they take turns switching up their voices and replicating schizophrenic mind states. This might be off an upcoming mixtape from Ortiz, but I hope it finds a home on something a bit more official. [via]
