A few months ago JME made some serious noise in the UK by entering the top-50 charts with the track “96 Fuckeries“. Although it’s not a big deal considering some of the genre’s breakout stars making music with mass appeal in mind, it’s notable because it was actually a straight-up, no chorus, grime banger that somehow found its way onto the charts. Moving forward it appears that JME has no intentions of switching up his gritty style with his newest single “Murking”, which has now been given the video treatment. Will he have the same chart success as he had last year? It’s not really important if he continues making music this good. “Murking” is set to release on iTunes June 17.
