Over the summer, producer/rapper Jneiro Jarel embarked on his latest endeavor and started up his own imprint, Label Who. One of the venture’s first projects is releasing the work of JJ Burton, which is the duo of guitarist Scott Burton and multi-instrumental Reginald Pace (of Bon Iver).
So far they have put out the beautifully laid-back single “Ohh Bay!!! (Ohh Baby)”, which now receives some visuals courtesy of Jarel himself. They were shot on location in Costa Rica, a fitting setting considering the vacation playlist-ready vibes emanating from the superb guitar work and cool-as-the-other-side-of-the-pillow layers of percussion. Now if only I could take the rest of the week off and head down to Costa Rica myself.
