Last week, a new mixtape from Chicago native Jeremiah Jae, Bad Jokes, hit the web seemingly out of the blue. But it appears that it was part of a slow roll-out to announce that the Brainfeeder crew member has joined the Warp Records roster. Details of the deal aren’t out just yet, meaning we’re not sure when we’ll hear his retail debut on the seminal label. Also, if you copped Bad Jokes, you probably noticed the Warp logo on the cover. Not a bad start to a relationship if you ask me.
In case you haven’t heard Jae’s work just yet, you can check out Bad Jokes below. I also strongly recommend his and Tre aka Dirty Sinatra’s latest Young Black Preachers release, Gesus. Also, you can cop Jae’s 2012 album, Raw Money Raps, on Amazon. [via]

Yea that was a total brainfart on my part. Sorry and thanks for noticing!
It’s actually Jeremiah and Tre’s release of the Gesus album. Tre + Jae = YBP. Oliver + Jae = RAWHYDE
