Like many of our favorite acts, multi-talented Chicago native Jeremiah Jae loves taking to his Soundcloud account to share gems from his vaults. His latest stems from 2010, when he was apparently into flipping classic samples like Aretha Franklin’s “One Step Ahead”, which was famously flipped by Ayatollah on Mos Def’s “Ms. Fat Booty”. While Jae’s version, “OneTwo Step (Her Booty)”, is no doubt reminiscent of its predecessor, he brings a fresh perspective by way of a killer transition and deft chopping. Check it out below.
