London’s JD. Reid released his five-track 88EP this week. The compact project features vocal appearances from the usual suspects: Don Silk, ItsNate and the ever-improving Denzel Himself. The 88EP manages to be dark and uplifting at the same time, showcasing Reid’s obvious talent and flare when it comes to forging his trademark future jazzy sounds. It makes for a strong release well worth checking out.
