I can’t stand Madlib’s Madlib Medicine Show series. There are so many better things that Madlib could be doing with his time. With that said, at least we get to hear tracks like “Louder (Blast Your Radio Theme)”, which was intended to be on a follow up record to Champion Sound. Yay! More awesome J Dilla beats covered with garbage Madlib vocals! Anyway, consider me excited about this track. A dusty song that brings more attention to one of the greatest producers of all time, and it reminds us that his light still shines on hip-hop even after all these years. This song appears on Madlib’s latest compilation, Madlib Medicine Show #11: Low Budget High Fi Music, which is available now via Stones Throw. Rest in beats, Jay Dee!
