Jay Electronica: 2011 and Beyond

It seems like Jay Electronica, after years of waiting, has finally begun to climb to the top of hip-hop stardom. Teaming up with Jay-Z’ Rock Nation label and Mountain Dew’s advertising campaign, we finally have something a bit more concrete to look forward to in 2011. And I am sure that none of this is news to you, but since things are dull this week, I thought it was a perfect time to showcase these exciting new developments as we head into a very promising year for all of hip-hop.

With that said, I decided to throw together a quick post with a few of the joints that Jay dropped over the past year, in case you had missed them the first time around. I also included a few videos from the Mountain Dew campaign after the skip, which wasn’t exactly expected, but it seems like a very logical step in the right direction for Electronica. Enjoy and have a happy new year!
