I could have sworn that Janelle Monae‘s new video, “Dance Apocalyptic“, was set to premiere tonight on BET’s 106 & Park. But hey, I’m not sweatin’ the fact it showed up several hours early online. Like the track itself, the visuals depict Monae lettin’ her hair down … literally. She dances her ass off throughout the pseudo-retro clip that also features a sharply dressed back-up band, goofball announcer, and special bulletin about the apocalypse. If this doesn’t make you smile even a lil’ bit, check your pulse.
