Jakarta Records – Some Jewels From Jakarta [Compilation]

Germany’s Jakarta Records is now 40 releases deep and they just released Some Jewels From Jakarta to celebrate. If you’re a regular reader of Potholes you’ll recognize some of the names, like Blu and Blitz The Ambassador, but there’s more than just rap here. There’s songs like “Rhythms of 777″, which sounds like vintage soul, and “The Way I Am Dreaming” that ends the project with a spacey rap beat. There’s a little something for everyone. [via]
