Issa Dash (The Underachievers) – “Aquinini”

The Underachievers first impressed us with video for “Gold Soul Theory” a few weeks ago. Since then, they have bubbled up with another video, and now a solo effort from duo member Issa Dash. I know it is a terrible thing to do, but I tend to draw comparisons to a lot of up-and-comers in the rap game. These guys remind me a bit of Camp Lo, with sample-based production filled with slick flows and vocabulary. “Aquinini” is no exception, as Issa Dash effortlessly cruises over this smooth jazz-induced leaner produced by Rami B.
