You made it all the way down here? Great. Now let’s talk about what you hopefully just read. Yes, music piracy continues to be risky business for millions of users out there. But as piracy continues to be a massive issue, agencies like the RIAA are looking for new ways to take down perpetrators. Ones that don’t use as many resources. As many of you are already aware, the new ISP system seems to be a small step in the right direction for the RIAA. But is it the right direction for Internet users? That is yet to be decided.

We will soon find out as ISPs institute these new policies and begin to try and educate their customers on piracy. My main issue here is protecting identity of Internet users.
