Illogic & Blockhead – Preparing for Capture [EP]

I feel like new music from Blockhead has been pretty rare as of late, so a collaborative project with MC Illogic is warmly welcomed on this Tuesday afternoon. This takes me back to the early Rhymesayers and Def Jux days, where emotional raps and grim production were totally cool. Not that it isn’t any less cool now, but there is something raw and organic about Preparing for Capture that is strikingly nostalgic for me.
