The Long Island rapper-producer has been unstoppable these past few years, even when he’s on his co-sign/A&R tip. In fact, did you know what he’s the Vice President of A&R at Man Bites Dog Records? True story. He’s also presenting this new project from gruff New York rapper Hus Kingpin, The Cognac Tape, that drops in September on Mello Music Group. Our first sampling is free single “Boss Material”, a fitting title given the subject matter and tougher-than-grime-covered-nails beat.
