Not only does Blackbird Blackbird continue to pump out remixes, but he has an incredible knack for picking some of our favorite tunes. With How To Dress Well‘s Total Loss already well in rotation, it’s nice to hear an alternative perspective of this infectious little R&B jam. Playing with the pitches and the tempo, Mikey turns “& It Was U” into a slow-dripping soundscape. The emotion is left intact, though, as this remix still bleeds of a lonely heart.
