Nick Koenig, aka Hot Sugar, makes fun-as-hell, ridiculously creative music. End of story. Period. And that’s why I have kept up with the dude since last November, when he made a beat from all the absurd sounds in his crib. That’s also why I have played the hell out of his Muscle Milk EP and was excited to see he has four new tracks to share here. I’m hopeful that this is some kind of low-key teaser for a proper new project. But if not, I can definitely vibe out to these tracks, particularly the crazy chord progressions of “Hanna D”.
