Hot Sugar is one creative dude, always bringing a refreshing perspective to each and every one of his productions. As is the case with “Leverage”, where he samples recordings of himself kicking stuff on the street at 3 AM. Not only that, but the heavy hitting track features fantastic vocal performances from Kool A.D., Fat Tony, Lakutis and Nasty Nigel. This take is going to land on Hot Sugar’s forthcoming MiDi Murder EP, which is set the precursor of the full-length MiDi Murder LP. And with Scion behind him, I am sure both of those projects are going to have a pretty huge impact on the indie hip-hop scene. [via]
