Here’s a dreamy down-tempo cut from Holy Other’s forthcoming EP With U. These vocals are so digitalized that I feel like I can hear every pixel. Despite everything I know about what recorded sound is–frequencies–I want to say I can hear these pixels. Why is that? Maybe because they have grainy accompanying artwork? Or maybe it’s just an affect of the square wave button on their synth or something? Whichever way they’ve sparked it, the sound of “Touch” is damn lovely. If I had synesthesia, I’d probably be trippin’ the hell out on the floor in a grainy haze. [via]
