It feels like forever since Hi-Tek released his third Hi-Teknology album back in 2007. But much to our delight, it appears we won’t have to wait much longer to hear the fourth installment. In an interview with AllHipHop, the Cincinnati-repping beatsmith revealed that he’s working on Hi-Teknology: Ohio Player. It’s about 50 percent complete and we should expect to hear a new single in the coming months. Peep what he had to say about it below.
[I]t’s going to be an addition to the Hi-Teknology series and it’s kind of based on me being a person from Ohio, puttin’ it down, strong with the music and it’s ode and a dedication to the OGs, and its something to inspire those from where I’m from because so much music has come from here[.]
Sounds good to me. [via]
