flylo already making big money for the scene he’s & giles /benji b making that radio money. the rest are a niche. also acts like samiyan (who doesnt mix) and gaslamp (who also doesnt mix half the time either) are only really big in beat circle scenes

u do realise most of those guys produce music? and the only way to play it out is by Djing some way.

if ur music appeals to millions more people u make the big money simple.

some folk dont realise their music is a niche and prob bootleg or dont even by their favouritte producers/djs music

Such a shame really, but its a perfect snap-shot of the current music industry and how much people are just fed bullshit music because it’s catchy and created for simple-minded people. I’ve unfortunately witnessed 5 of these “DJs” live and Deadmau5 is the only one who legit puts on a show and creates live music. The sad part is, so many people are deciding “hey I can be a DJ too” after seeing these untalented “artists” “perform” and it just floods more whack music and people into the scene.

I’ll still take paying $5 to witness some of my incredibly-talented friends and true DJs spin in my hometown.. Better scene, no mass of 17yearolds in neon, cheap drinks, and the ability to actually watch and listen to music being mixed and remixed LIVE and IN PERSON…
