Hey, didn’t I just write about how Dam-Funk likes to give his fans a chance to hear music they otherwise wouldn’t hear without his Soundcloud account? Well, he’s been back at it these past few days. The Los Angeles boogie king uploaded a demo, “Someone Tell Me?”, and a previously unreleased instrumental jam, “The Glow”.
The former is a vocals-driven cut that finds Dam questioning when we’ll all be free of the negativity and the bullshit, two things he addresses quite often on his Twitter account. It makes for a meditative listen, especially during that piano solo. Speaking of solos, “The Glow” will probably melt your face. Just be careful.
