Toronto producer HARRISON is gearing up to perform in his hometown on Oct. 16 alongside Paul Chin, Suncleft, and Shift. And to celebrate the show announcement, HARRISON has shared a grin-inducing new single, “Ashe Maree,” that will instantly brighten your Monday morning. Like one of his most recent releases, this track is also filled with samples of one of the most bad-ass characters in the history of video games: Kirby. The lil’ pink bastard who likes to eat everything can be heard throughout “Ashe Maree,” an instrumental joint that falls into the sub-genre of “kawaii” that roughly translates to “cute” or “charming.” Yes indeed, those are two adjectives I’d certainly use to describe this lil’ gem.
