His two latest projects — the sample-heavy Celebriteeth and sample-free Redlights. — have proven that the guy can churn out moody bangers with or without his deep and dusty record crates. And on his new free offering, he’s looked to a relatively recent record in Peeping Tom’s self-titled debut. Handbook lifted creeping tones and slow-bursting brass and paired them up with a head-nodding beat to create something you probably wouldn’t want to hear during a thunderstorm. Unless you’re a masochist.
