Barbadian rapper (and producer) Haleek Maul is on the come up in a serious way. And at 16 years old, he’s got a bright future ahead of him. But it’s a future he’s already realized and fully aware of, something that resonates strongly throughout his sharply honed verses. If he’s not waxing on the lust he feels for a certain female, young Maul is contemplating whether or not he’ll see tomorrow. And if he does, he’s unsure of just what it holds. If that sounds heavy, it is, but the kid paints pictures of demons so well that you can’t do anything but sit back and listen.
