I can’t tell you how good it feels to uncover a new artist in the music submissions inbox that really has something wondeful to offer. Today that pleasure comes courtesy of GuSHee, a producer duo that draws influences from the likes of Portishead (calm down, Andrew) and Bjork. Personally I thought they sounded an awful lot like our good friends Sonnymoon. Either way, “When I Think of You… Sunshine” is an absolutely fantastic introduction to this group that has an album dropping March 8 via Otnorot Recordings. The album is self-titled, and I can assure you that the quality throughout that nine track debut is top-notch. Stream the single or download after the skip.
