I slipped up and didn’t make it out to my local spot on Record Store Day, my loss considering all the fantastic stuff that landed on shelves Saturday. One of those was an absolutely stacked 12″ between Grizzly Bear, Nicolas Jaar, and Brian Eno. Luckily for those that didn’t snag a copy we can now stream Nicolas Jaar’s remix of Grizzly Bear’s “Sleeping Ute”. It’s enjoyable for all the reason’s we’ve come to expect from Jaar, and at this point we’re left wondering if a follow up from 2011’s Space Is Only Noise is in the works soon. Regardless, this slow-bubbling eight minute jam is not something you should gloss over.
