Grimes – “Genesis” [Video]

“Genesis” happened to be one of our favorite songs of the past year, so the music video was certainly a treat much anticipated. While we were sure it was going to be great, no one could have expected it to be this great. That is, if you enjoy sword fights, pythons, crazy costumes, slow-motion, and a bunch of other weird shit. This is a fun song, a really fun song in fact. But I can’t imagine how exhilarating it must have been to frolic around in an outlandish outfit like the actors in this film, all under the direction of Claire Boucher herself. Oh, and is that a TOKiMONSTA cameo? Visions is out now, but you already knew that.
