Portraits of an earlier life are painted as the always engrossing rapper unveils a more striking level of thoughtful introspection, touching on numerous racial, socioeconomic and self-examining realities. Another layer to this character has been added thanks to a seamless, impressive delivery that newly showcases GoldLink’s prowess as a storyteller.
