Ghostpoet’s great new single, “Meltdown” with guest Woodpecker Wooliams, has an inherent melancholy feel to it. The vocals, lyrics, melodies, and production all lend themselves to you truly feeling something as soon as the track begins. But there’s a hopeful air to the protagonists following their hearts at the end of the hook, and that notion appears to drive the song’s video. Perhaps I’m reading into it too much, but the way everything suddenly shifts toward the end appears to be for the better.
Watch it below. The song is off Ghostpoet’s upcoming album, Some Say I So I Say Light.
