After speculating that there could be a new Wu-Tang album, Ghostface Killah has revealed that this is indeed a possibility. MTV was able to get a statement from Ghostface on the issue. Here is what he had to say:
“He was like, if y’all can just believe in me and let me go ahead and do what I gotta do with this, we could just be outta here and make a shitload of money. I believe in him because if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be standing here today, regardless of what. He still got this same hunger for this Wu shit.”
Of course, RZA made it clear the only way he would make this new Wu-Tang album, which would coincide with the 20th Anniversary of the release of Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), is if he had full control. We know this is the only way we will get a quality final product, as organization was in disarray for the release of the most recent Wu album, 8 Diagrams.
