Look, I get it: Def Jam’s promotional team is a fucking joke and essentially non-existent. But that doesn’t mean I should be complacent about the fact Ghostface Killah’s Apollo Kids is dropping tomorrow without even a semblance of promotion by the label. The only push the record has received is through posts such as this that include “leaks” from the album, which is pretty solid by the way. One of the highlights is easily “In tha Park” as it boasts two of my top 5 rappers going in over a grimy-as-hell beat from Frank Dukes.
